Join us. **Job Description** **About Buildings + Places:** Our Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building and system engineering, urbanism and planning, strategy +, economics, technology solutions, asset advisory, and cost and program management. This team assists our clients from strategy through project realization, creating positive outcomes for those who occupy and use the buildings and environments we help to create. Our California studio focuses on the Commercial/Corporate, Science and Technology, Higher Education, and Federal market sectors. We look to combine beauty, sustainability, resiliency, and innovation in our projects and believe these values can be instilled in any project regardless of size or budget. **AECOM** is seeking an **Architectural Designer** to be based in the Los Angeles, CA office. This position is expected to begin in February 2025. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks. + Performs entry-level work. + Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff. + Meets required schedules while producing quality work. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in architecture or civil engineering and or related field. + Experience in working in REVIT **Preferred Qualifications:** + Preferred a minimum of two years of experience in architecture or design. + Demonstrates creativity, passion, and interest in planning and design. + Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing + Ability to prioritize and multi-task on multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced work environment. + Ability to work in a team environment and effectively meet deadlines. + Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferred. **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
