Overview:

MG Moving Services is seeking reliable and skilled Commercial Installers to join our team in Sterling, Virginia . In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of office furniture, fixtures, and equipment in commercial spaces. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of installations while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Installations: Install office furniture, modular systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial spaces according to client specifications and design plans.
  • Assembly and Setup: Assemble, configure, and arrange furniture and equipment, ensuring everything is set up to meet functional and aesthetic needs.
  • Quality Control: Inspect all installations to ensure that they meet safety standards, are level, stable, and securely fastened.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and address any concerns related to installations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and efficient completion of installation projects.
  • Maintain Tools and Equipment: Properly use, maintain, and store tools and equipment needed for installations.
  • Safety Adherence: Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and client property during installation processes.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and work with team members to find solutions to challenges that may arise during installation.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in commercial furniture installation, assembly, or construction is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand installation diagrams, blueprints, and floor plans.
  • Must pass a background check , drug screen , and driving record check .
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Familiarity with basic tools and equipment such as drills, screwdrivers, and saws.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage : $21 to $35+ per hour, depending on experience.
