**Job Title: Commercial Plumber** **Job Description** We are seeking four Commercial Plumbers to join our team and work on private sector commercial new construction projects throughout the Bay Area. Whether you are an apprentice, an experienced plumber, or at the journeyman level, we have opportunities for you. These plumbers will report directly to the foreman on site. **Responsibilities** + Install waste, drain, and vent systems. + Install water lines. + Work with materials such as cast iron, plastic, and copper. + Install various types of valves. + Perform soldering and brazing. + Install insulation, perform strapping, and test systems. + Depending on the project stage, work may involve underground, rough, or finish plumbing. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience as an Advanced Apprentice Plumber. + Experience in commercial new construction or service. + Proficiency in installing waste, drain, and vent systems, as well as water lines. + Experience with materials including cast iron, plastic, and copper. + Ability to perform soldering and brazing. + Capability to follow a five-step process to complete work. + Must own plumbing and hand tools. **Why Work Here** Join a well-established Commercial Plumbing Contractor with a close-knit, family feel. Work is typically within 30-35 miles of Hayward, with project phases lasting 1-2 months. Employees report to the foreman and collaborate with 2-10 colleagues. The standard shift is Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with flexibility required for start times between 5:00am and 7:00am. Employees use personal vehicles, with mileage reimbursement available if multiple sites are visited in one day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Hayward, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
