Curtze Foodservice in Erie, PA, is seeking to hire a first-shift full-time Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This position will focus on all locations in the Erie area for their facility's preventative maintenance needs. Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager the Facilities Maintenance Specialist will perform a variety of skilled work. We are willing to train in some areas. Responsibilities: Repair and maintenance of equipment Plumbing, carpentry, electrical, air-conditioning, refrigeration, painting, and other equipment as necessary ~ Maintenance of building grounds Qualifications: Understanding and proficient use of hand tools and power tools Electrical – meter reading, residential-style wiring experience, 3- phase and single-phase knowledge Plumbing – troubleshooting pneumatic equipment, and basic plumbing Basic Carpentry - operating both stationary and portable shop tools, measurement, leveling, painting Electronics – working with low-voltage transformers Experience with PLC's and HMI's is a plus Experience with vacuum pump systems a plus Curtze's premium benefits include: Medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), 401(k) match, pet insurance, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, voluntary accident insurance, flexible spending account, employee discount, paid holidays, paid time off, shoe allowance, and Christmas Club.
