Occupational Therapist Fairfield, NJ
We are looking for a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our practice full time in Fairfield, NJ. We are seeking a NJ Licensed Occupational Therapist, who works well in multidisciplinary setting, has strong manual skills, and loves helping others with comprehensive compassionate care.
About us:
We are a multi-disciplinary practice consisting of physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, neurology, and primary-care and we have proudly served the community for almost 15 years. We provide an individualized, "hands on" approach with our patients. Starting with a thorough examination, we then develop a plan of care that promotes the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Our therapists will work side-by-side with pts, physical therapy assistants, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and rehab techs to make sure that the goals of the care plan are met. Our healthcare professionals offer customized treatment plans including the state-of-the-art methods of both traditional and cutting-edge therapeutic care.
Duties:
-Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
-Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
-Develop and implement occupational therapy programs based on each patient's particular needs
-Assist patients with all phases of occupational therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
-Compose discharge notes for patients, refer to appropriate outside sources, as necessary
-Patient education on the benefits of OT and treatment plan maintenance
-Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
-Collaboration with the other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
-Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
-Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
-Periodically perform care calls to check in on the status of current/past patients.

Requirements:
-Graduation from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program (OT)
-Occupational Therapy license in NJ
Schedule:
-Full time or Part time

Compensation:
-$95k-$100k per year (DOE)
