Production Team Member

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Production Team Member will be responsible for ensuring that the Production kitchen operates in accordance with the company's principles, systems, and culture. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our kitchen operations, taking pride in creating delicious, quality artisanal products. You will work closely with experienced chocolatiers and pastry chefs to assist in the preparation and production of our products.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB TASKS

Oversight of position. Tasks may include:

• Participates in the success of the Production Department
• Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately
• Preparing and assembling ingredients for recipes
• Operating kitchen equipment and tools
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment; maintaining a clean work environment
• Assisting with packaging and labeling of products
• Assisting with inventory management
• Ensures the highest standards of food safety are being met; follows company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members and management, including reporting any inventory, product, or process issues
• Continuously develop knowledge of product, promotions, and operational changes; identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 18 years of age
• A minimum of 1 year work experience in retail and/or food service environment, preferred
