Urgent Hire: Release of Information Specialist (ROI) Location: Torrance, CA (100% Onsite) Pay: $23/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday / 8am-4:30pm Description - Complete release of information requests, including retrieving patient's medical chart and returning chart, scanning medical record and transmitting daily. - Date stamp all requests and highlight data to expedite processing. - Validate requests and authorizations for release of medical information in accordance with procedures. - Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers - Ensure that files are properly stored and maintained Must Have Skills/Experience: + Medical Records + HIPPA + EPIC experience + Electronic medical records experience + Release of information experience Additional Skills & Qualifications - 2-5 years of ROI experience - ROI Navigator Module in EPIC - Strong customer service skills - Must maintain a high level of confidentiality / HIPPA Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
